Energy Consultants Day on 10 February 2023, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. - London Conference Room, North Entrance

The GIH NRW and the GIH Federal Association are represented at the Elektrotechnik with a stand as well as a lecture program and a tour of the exhibition.

From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., research meets practice: Gisela Renner from GIH NRW, together with Danny Günther from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE), will provide interactive information on the hot topic of heat pumps in existing buildings. Based on the research results from the ISE, we will discuss their implementation in the daily practice of energy consultants. The topics will be:

• Introduction: Heat pump in existing buildings
• Achieved performance figures, economic efficiency, CO2 emissions based on concrete example projects of differently renovated buildings
• Influences on the efficiency of heat pump systems, including flow temperatures and transfer systems (radiators, underfloor heating, mixed systems, fan coil units)
• Evaluation of different heat pump concepts with regard to efficiency in existing buildings
• Current and foreseeable new developments from ongoing research projects

Afterwards, the GIH exhibition tour will take place from 1:15 p.m. In 90 minutes, selected exhibitors will be visited and specific topics of energy consulting will be addressed.

Participation in the GIH Energy Consultant Day is free for trade fair visitors. GIH members can receive free day tickets.
