VPI medium-voltage transformers/VPI low-voltage transformers

VPI technology is used for transformers and inductors with insulation classes up to 36 kV.

This technology involves a non-cast insulation system that provides outstanding environmental protection.

The high thermal class enables TMC to build compact, reliable products with very low power up to high powers of several MVA.

VPI transformers can also be supplied with aluminum or copper windings.

VPI reactors are typically used for low and medium voltage (from 0 to 52 kV). TMC develops and produces cast resin reactors for specific projects only when the required voltage is very high. The winding can be made of either copper or aluminum, while cooling technologies can be direct/indirect water cooling or AFWF air-water cooling. TMC focuses on iron core production, on reactors with an iron core as well as reactors with an air core or a shell.
